Chi, Xu, Ph.D.
I graduated from the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University in 2007. After obtaining my Ph.D. from the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), in Beijing in 2014, I conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute in the USA until 2018. Then I returned to China and joined the Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I have now joined Professor Shi’s laboratory as a Research Associate. My primary research fields are bioinformatics and epigenomics. I am particularly interested in utilizing deep learning algorithms to explore the signaling, regulation, and modeling of genetic and epigenetic information within cells.
